In the high desert here, we know how precious it is to eat fresh and organic produce all year round! Our climate here in Northern Nevada doesn't easily allow us to grow food all year round, but thankfully there are local farms like Prema Farm who has high tunnels to deal with harsh winter weather.
We feel super lucky to have a year round farmers market here in Reno, Nevada. Riverside Farmers Market is beaming with all kinds of locally grown and prepared food items, as well as artistic, handmade and environmentally friendly products thanks to the growing number of the vendors.
